Present-day Artificial Intelligence (AI) remains fundamentally limited in both application and method. In application, it struggles to replicate defining human traits such as intuition, inventiveness, and free will - making its scope narrow. As for the method, it relies on statistical algorithms that mimic outcomes rather than capturing the actual process of human thought. The evident gap between these machine-like means and the human-like ends of autonomous, general intelligence raises an unavoidable question -

Have we been asking the right questions?

This blog aims to raise such fundamental questions - the ones long dismissed as obvious or those we did not know how to ask. A3ILABS’ Project POC responds to some of these foundational challenges, particularly within the prevailing paradigms of AI and AGI research. Several of the results are likely to be surprising, to say the least.
